The Power of Intention and the 4th Chakra

 

 

One of my favourite books is entitled “Power of Intention  by Dr Wayne Dyer This is an invitation to the understanding of the world beyond form and time and space that creates all things within time and space.  As a storyteller I am interested in the timeless dimension that is invited through the stories of Irish mythology.  These stories share adventures about journeying to various lands and especially to islands.  Metaphorically speaking, these islands represent states of consciousness and ways of seeing the world and from this seeing a different way of being in the world.

 

 

 

Intention is a kind of magical power.  It is the beginning of Creation in form.  All creative potential exists within the infinite field of possibility.  This field of infinite creative potential has been given various names throughout the history of the human experience.  It is a field that exists outside of time and space.   When I use the word “field” I am not talking about some place where there is grass growing and sheep might be grazing.  I have to use words in order to invite you into the experience of the wordless.  This “field” is a quantum field.  It is a paradox which can be experienced but cannot be defined in logic.  Here is one of my favourite poems that describes this field.

 

 

Out beyond ideas of wrong doing and right doing,

the world is too full to talk about
language, ideas, even the phrase each other

This field of infinite creation is awaiting creation within form – meaning it created the world of time and space in order to know itself.  Time and space is created as a way of not having everything happen at once.  The power of intention is the ability that humans have to access this infinite field of creative possibility and to manifest the energy of this formless potential into things and experience.  The primary reason for creation of things is not simply to be productive but to express the beauty and power of Love ever becoming.  The unbridled consumption that is manifest in the West is evidence of non-alignment with the invitation of Creation – the result is suffering which invites re-alignment with the first cause of Creation – Love.

 

This power of intention arises before thought.  For example.  I write a blog.  My intention is to invite you into the  eternal knowing that you are this field having an individual experience called “me.”   My intention in writing this blog is to invite you to become aware of the wonder tale that you are, and ever are and ever will be, as an individual and non-individual expression of Divine Love.   If my intention were to write this blog in order to have you buy courses and buy products that I create then the intention would be different and my response to the results of this intention would be different too that as stated above.  The first intention is what I call “right intention.”  This isn’t “right” in any moral sense of the word.  “Right,” as I wish it to be understood here, means to be in alignment with the primary cause – the First cause.

The invitation from the First Cause is the movement of energy into form from the formless desire of Love.  Love creates because Love loves to create and know itself through the act of creation.  This movement of energy, creating form through love, is what is called The Christ.  The Christ is not a person, although the presence of the Christ does manifest through the form of a human body.  This doesn’t mean you have to be a Christian, and in my personal experience being aligned to a dogmatic view of creation, blocks the very process it is intended to reveal.

 

How do you know you are aligned with “right” intention?  You feel creative.  You feel a real sense of joy in being able to share what it is you are gifted to give and in giving you expand your consciousness into the ever increasing initiation to be Loves purpose.  Intention arises before thought.  You can think about intention but “right” intention means being willing to journey to the boon tree – the heart where the desires go beyond the personal.  They arise from the impersonal – the will of Creation – as it designed you to express through you.  Intention arises from feeling.  The greatest indication of “right” intention is the experience of joy.  You become in joy of your self.

 

It is said that the road to hell is paved with “good intentions.  This tends to be intentions that arise from a moral judgement of what is good versus what is bad.  This is duality.  This is the movement between opposites and will always involve tension and opposition.  When you move into the heart centre you begin to move into that placeless place beyond opposites.  The heart centre (4th Chakra) is were you begin to experience peace.  Peace is one of the “7 Ways to a Wonderful Life” that this storyteller invites you to learn more about in his workshop of the same title.

 

In order to attain to this peace that passeth understanding (meaning understanding beyond logical understanding) you have to begin with “right” intention.  You have to begin with a dynamic that you, for much of you life, have been taught to ignore.  This is the dynamic called trust.  If you were to trust the inner knowing that you are you would become a revelation unto yourself.  You would become the wonder tale you already are becoming.  You would reveal your true  nature as one aligned with creation as a co-creator of Love.

 

This gives you more than you can ever imagine.  It is the invitation to seek the Kingdom of heaven and know that all will be added to you because you are in alignment with the infinite field of creation that loves you as its unique creative expression.  You don’t have to crawl on you knees to get this.  In fact you can’t get what you already are.  You can become willing to be the revelation of your beauty as an infinite expression of love.   Are you Ready to Radiate this fullness of potential within you?  This is the intention of this blog.  To invite you, and to evermore invite you, into the wonder tale you are and are becoming.  If you take this journey then all blessings be upon. I want only one thing – to give these blessings away for the absolute joy of their sharing.
